Bjc 85 Driver Windows 7
The printer is connected by a USB cable and I have made no changes to it — it hasn;t been used in a couple of years.

I ran the FIXIT program, it reported no problems but the printer is still not working. I get a ‘Printer not responding’ status message.
I tried installing the printer as per the video. When i get to the screen with the list of manufacturers and printers, the BJC85 is not listed so I hit the Windows Update button. After a couple of minutes I get a message reading ‘Windows is undable to get a list of drivers from Windows Update. Please try again later.’ The PC was connected to the internet by braodband wifi.

I have been getting this message for 48 hours.
I don’t have the installation disk (the printer was bought used) and the only things I can download from the internet are old installation programs that won’t run under Win7.
Please could you either tell how to get the Windows Update to work to give the list of drivers, or where to download the specific BJC85 driver so that I can install that via the ‘have Disk’ option in the Add a Printer routine.
